The Smart Beginnings Charity Tot Trot promises to be a fun event for local children ages 2-5.
All proceeds go to Smart Beginnings Shenandoah Valley, a community coalition dedicated to making sure that all children enter school ready to succeed.

Tot, Trike and Treasure
Saturday, September 29th - 8am to noon
Mountain View Elementary School
2800 Rawley Pike, Harrisonburg
Children will compete in three events: a short foot race, a tricycle race, and a "treasure hunt." A parent or guardian must be present at all times to assist their child. Competitors must provide their own tricycle (any self-propelled toddler wheels are fine - no electric or battery operated wheels allowed). Children are encouraged to wear helmets during the tricycle race - safety first!
Pre-Registration Entry Fee: $10 per child competitor, before September 9th (includes t-shirt, raffle ticket, souvenir medal and goody bag)
Registration Day of Race: $15 per child competitor (includes raffle ticket - t-shirts and goody bags available on a first come-first served basis)
Prizes will be given for top times in both age divisions, as well as to the top fundraisers with pledge forms!

I have my registration form - now what?Children must register no later than September 9th to be eligible to receive a t-shirt and goody bag.
To submit your registration information, MAIL the registration form + fee ($10 per participating child) to: Smart Beginnings MSC 9008 Harrisonburg, VA 22807 OR MAIL the registration form and pay ONLINE using Eventbrite. A processing surcharge of $1.24 will apply. |
